Alchemical Woodcraft LLC creates handcrafted wood products, many of which are custom built to order. Because of the nature of custom woodworking, refund and return policies vary depending on the type of product purchased.


Custom-Built Products

Custom-built products include items made specifically to customer specifications such as floating shelves built to order, fireplace mantels, custom furniture, and made-to-measure woodworking projects. Because these items are built specifically for the customer, custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable once production begins. Deposits are used to secure materials, production scheduling, and shop time. Customers are responsible for confirming all measurements, design details, and specifications before approving production.


Order Changes

If a customer wishes to modify an order after approval, changes must be requested before production begins. Additional charges may apply and project timelines may change. Once fabrication has started, changes may not be possible.


Damaged Items

If a product arrives damaged due to shipping, customers must notify Alchemical Woodcraft LLC within 48 hours of delivery. Customers may be asked to provide photographs of the damage, packaging, and order details. We will work with the customer to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or shipping claim assistance.


Ready-Made Products

From time to time, Alchemical Woodcraft LLC may offer ready-made products that are not custom built, such as pre-built shelving, decor items, or shop inventory pieces. These items may be eligible for return if the return request is made within 14 days of delivery, the item is unused and in original condition, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged. Refunds are issued after the returned item has been inspected. Shipping costs are non-refundable.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return: custom-built products, made-to-measure items, items damaged through misuse or improper installation, and items altered after delivery.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
