These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern purchases, quotes, and custom woodworking services provided by Alchemical Woodcraft LLC (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By requesting a quote, placing an order, or submitting payment to Alchemical Woodcraft LLC, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


Custom Woodworking Products

Alchemical Woodcraft LLC produces handcrafted woodworking products, including but not limited to floating shelves, fireplace mantels, furniture, custom wood installations, and decorative wood products. Many products are custom-built to order and are subject to the policies outlined below.


Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are provided based on the information supplied by the customer. Quotes may include product specifications, material selection, dimensions, finish selections, and estimated production timelines. Quotes are generally valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Material costs and availability may change after this period.


Deposits and Payment Terms

Custom projects require a deposit before production begins. The standard structure is a 50 percent deposit to begin production, with the remaining balance due prior to delivery or pickup. Deposits secure materials procurement, project scheduling, and reserved shop production time. Deposits become non-refundable once materials are purchased or production begins.


Custom Orders

Because many items are custom built to customer specifications, custom orders cannot be returned and are non-refundable once production begins. Changes may require a revised quote. Customers are responsible for confirming all specifications before approving production.


Production Timelines

Estimated completion timelines are provided as general guidance. Production timelines may vary due to material availability, finishing and curing time, project complexity, and current shop workload. Completion dates are not guaranteed.


Design Changes

If changes are requested after a project has been approved or production has started, they may require a written change order, additional costs, and adjusted timelines. Work will not proceed on changes until revised terms are approved.


Customer Provided Measurements

If measurements are provided by the customer, the customer assumes responsibility for their accuracy. Alchemical Woodcraft LLC is not responsible for sizing issues resulting from incorrect measurements.


Natural Wood Characteristics

Wood is a natural material and may contain knots, grain variation, color variation, mineral streaks, and natural movement. These characteristics are not defects and contribute to the unique appearance of each handcrafted piece.


Installation

Unless installation services are explicitly provided by the Company, the customer is responsible for proper installation. Improper installation may result in damage or injury. Customers should review the Product Liability and Installation Disclaimer for additional safety information.


Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before production begins. If cancellation occurs before materials are purchased, deposits may be refunded at the Company’s discretion, minus any applicable processing fees. Once materials are purchased or fabrication begins, orders cannot be cancelled.


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alchemical Woodcraft LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.


Policy Updates

Alchemical Woodcraft LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.Updated policies will be posted with a revised effective date.
